At the Joan Sardà winery, we make our wines in accordance with the principles of organic farming. The system we use protects and respects the environment, our vineyard and our wines by making the most of our rich natural resources. We preserve the soil with organic manure and plant cover; we do not use chemical herbicides or pesticides to treat the vineyards; we limit the use of any products that may leave residue in the environment and we also minimize CO2emissions, amongst others. In essence, we monitor our vineyards closely and ensure that they are in perfect harmony with their ecosystem.
All of the processes we use are certified with the ecological certification of the CCPAE - Consell Català de la Producció Agrària Ecològica-.
